What is the CenterLine Ridge? How does it work?
The CenterLine Ridge is here to help you get quicker alignment to your target - using your hand's feel of the grip.
The CenterLine ridge is made of a flexible polyurethane strip, very similar to rubber but more resilient, that has an adhesive backing which attaches to your firearm's grip.
The key component of the solution is a very low ridge that blends in with your pistol's grip but is defined enough that it can be felt by your hand as you grip your firearm.
The CenterLine Ridge is made to be attached directly to the center line of the back and front of your grip.
Once both strips are on, your hand has the ability to feel the exact center line of your gun, through the small, pronounced ridges on both the front and back of the grip.
Picturing a line through your grip between these two ridges allows you to instantly know, by feel, where the center line of your pistol is.
This works because the center line of the grips is the same center line for all parts of the pistol.
So, if the center line of both of the grips are aligned and pointed at the target, the center line of the barrel is as well. You've just aligned the pistol directly on target!
One way to think of this solution is that it's similar to laces on a football or baseball.
Laces give players an immediate awareness of where their hands are on the ball.
You don't have to look at the laces to know you're locked in on the right spot on the ball.
Extending that concept to the gun, this then becomes a tool for a Quick lock-in and awareness of where the centerline of the pistol is. Even without looking.
The CenterLine Ridge allows a shooter to know exactly where to align the front and back center lines of the grip to put the pistol directly on target.
